Therapy Intensives

Focused, experiential work integrating EMDR, Brainspotting, and other brain- and body-based approaches

More time. More focus. More room for the work.

A therapy intensive sets aside a concentrated block of time to focus on something that matters—without being limited by the pace or stopping points of a traditional therapy hour.

Rather than spreading the work across many shorter sessions, we create dedicated space to prepare, stay with experiential and processing work as it unfolds, and integrate what emerges.

An intensive can stand on its own or complement therapy you're already doing with another clinician.

Why Choose An Intensive?

Sometimes there is something you want to give focused attention to rather than working with it little by little over weeks or months.

An intensive allows us to concentrate therapeutic work into a shorter period of time. Instead of repeatedly starting, stopping, and returning to the work across many separate sessions, we create larger blocks of uninterrupted time to build momentum and stay with the process.

For some people, this can mean accomplishing work in a day or two that might otherwise unfold over many weeks or months of traditional therapy.

An intensive might make sense if you:

  • Have a particular experience, pattern, or issue you want to focus on

  • Feel like you understand something intellectually but still haven't felt the shift you're looking for

  • Want to make meaningful progress without committing to ongoing therapy

  • Are already in therapy and want additional focused work around something specific

  • Prefer concentrated periods of therapeutic work followed by time to integrate

Concentrated doesn't mean rushed. We still make room to prepare, listen to your nervous system, follow what emerges, and integrate along the way.

The difference is that we have more uninterrupted time to do it.

An intensive can meet you where you are

As a Standalone Experience

You can come in specifically for an intensive without being in ongoing therapy. We'll identify what you'd like to focus on, prepare for the work, complete the intensive, and make space afterward for integration and next steps.

Alongside Your Current Therapy

If you already have a therapist you value, you don't have to choose between that relationship and an intensive. We can use our time together for focused processing work while you continue ongoing therapy with your current clinician.

What Does An Intensive Look Like?

Every intensive is shaped around you and what you want to work on, but the process generally includes three parts:

1. Prepare

Before we begin, we'll connect for a free consultation to talk about what brings you in, what you're hoping to work on, and whether an intensive feels like a good fit. If we decide to move forward, we'll schedule a 60-minute intake session to learn more about you and what you'd like to focus on. After the intake, you'll receive a guided workbook to help you continue preparing for our time together.

2. Process + Integrate

Each intensive day gives us four hours of dedicated therapy, divided into two 2-hour sessions with a 1-hour break in between. This extended time allows us to follow what emerges while also making space to slow down, reflect, and integrate along the way.

Our work may draw from EMDR, Brainspotting, parts work, somatic approaches, and other experiential methods depending on what feels most useful.

3. Reconnect

After the intensive, we'll reconnect for a 60-minute follow-up session. This is a chance to check in on what's unfolded since the intensive, make space for further integration where helpful, and explore any additional resources or next steps.

What Can We Work On?

An intensive works best when there is something meaningful you want to give focused attention to. That doesn't mean you need to arrive knowing exactly where the work needs to go—we can figure that out together.

Intensive work might focus on:

  • A difficult or traumatic experience that still feels unresolved

  • A persistent pattern or reaction that keeps showing up despite understanding it

  • A belief about yourself that you know isn't true, but still feels true

  • Anxiety, fear, or activation connected to a particular situation or experience

  • Grief, loss, or a significant life transition

  • A relationship experience or attachment pattern that continues to affect you

  • Something upcoming that you want to feel more prepared for

  • A place where you simply feel stuck and haven't been able to create the shift you're looking for

Sometimes the focus is clear from the beginning. Other times, we start with what's happening now and get curious together about what your system may still be carrying.

Therapy Intensive Packages

Choose from one, two, or three days of focused intensive work. Each package includes a 60-minute intake session, guided pre-intensive workbook, four hours of therapy per intensive day, and a 60-minute follow-up session.

ONE DAY

$1,500

4 hours of intensive therapy

TWO DAY

$2,400

8 hours of intensive therapy

THREE DAY

$3,200

Each intensive day includes four hours of therapy within a 5-hour block, generally divided into two 2-hour sessions with a 1-hour break in between. The break is yours to use as you need—to eat, rest, move, get some fresh air, or simply take some time to yourself. The therapy space remains available to you throughout.

Structure Without Rigidity

These options provide a clear starting point, but every intensive is shaped around the person doing the work. We’ll talk together about what brings you in and which format may be the best fit. When there’s a reason to do something a little differently, we can talk about that too.

Payment

Therapy intensives are private-pay services. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your intensive dates. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your first intensive day.

You don't need to know exactly what you want to work on or which intensive format makes the most sense. We can start with a free consultation call to talk about what brings you in, answer your questions, and see if an intensive feels like a good fit.
